Frequently asked questions about Clover.

What is Clover?

Clover is a social prediction markets app built on top of Polymarket. You can trade on real-world events, follow friends, share predictions, and track your portfolio — all from your phone.

What is a prediction market?

A prediction market lets you buy and sell shares in the outcome of real-world events. If you're right, your shares resolve to $1. If you're wrong, they resolve to $0. Prices reflect the crowd's collective probability estimate.

How does Clover make money?

Clover participates in Polymarket's Builder Referral Program, which provides a revenue share of protocol fees for trades routed through third-party frontends. Clover itself charges zero trading fees on top of this.

Do I need to create an account?

Yes. You sign up with your email or Apple ID via Magic SDK. This automatically creates a self-custodial wallet on the Polygon blockchain tied to your account.

Does Clover hold my funds?

No. Clover is a non-custodial interface. Your funds live in your own wallet on the Polygon blockchain at all times. Clover Labs never has access to your private keys or assets.

What currency does Clover use?

Clover uses USDC (USD Coin) on the Polygon network. You can deposit USDC to trade and withdraw at any time.

How do I deposit funds?

Go to your Portfolio tab and tap "Add Funds". You can deposit USDC directly to your Polygon wallet address. Deposits are typically confirmed within a few minutes.

How do I withdraw?

Go to your Portfolio tab and tap "Withdraw". Enter the amount and your destination address. Withdrawals settle on-chain and are typically confirmed within minutes. Any funds locked in open positions must be closed first.

Is Clover available in my country?

Clover is not available for trading in all regions. Users in restricted jurisdictions (including the United States) are automatically placed in a view-only mode where all trading features are disabled. You can still browse markets and view discussions. See our Compliance page for the full list of restricted regions.
